In November 2022, LEGO Group (Denmark) officially broke ground to build a factory in Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park III (VSIP III) in Tan Uyen town, Binh Duong province. One year later, let's take a panoramic tour of the construction site with Hung Nghiep Phu.

The topping out ceremony of the molding building is considered the first and very important step in the production process of LEGO toy sets. In addition, LEGO's factory also recorded 3 million safe working hours.

Since the groundbreaking ceremony in November 2022, the LEGO factory in Binh Duong has made significant progress in the construction process, reaching 26% of the factory's total construction volume in phase 1.

According to Mr. Preben Elnef, Vice President of LEGO Group, General Director of LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam, with the topping out of the molding building, the company is one step closer to completing the construction of a factory worth 1 billion VND. USD.

The $1 billion LEGO factory in Binh Duong starts construction in November 2022

The factory construction project at Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park III (VSIP III) in Binh Duong province of the LEGO Group was started in November 2022. With a total investment of 1 billion USD, this is the largest investment project implemented by a Danish enterprise in Vietnam; It is expected to create 4,000 jobs when it goes into operation in 2024.

Built on a 44-hectare land area, the size of which is equivalent to 62 football fields, the factory is introduced as a place that applies the most advanced technology to mold, process and package LEGO products.

At the end of March this year, LEGO said it had set up an office in Binh Duong province to recruit personnel and workers to prepare for operations in August 2024.
