1. Requirements for processing, assembling and accepting steel structures
Steel structures must be fabricated and assembled according to structural drawings and detailed structural drawings. For specific structures, in addition to the provisions of this standard, specific regulations for those structures must also be followed.
When fabricating and assembling, mechanical methods and large-block assembly methods should be used in accordance with construction methods and technological diagrams.
During the process of fabrication, assembly and acceptance, it is necessary to check the implementation of technological diagrams and construction methods. The inspection results must be recorded in the construction diary.
Materials used for fabrication and assembly must comply with design requirements.
Construction design documents for structures must be prepared in accordance with the requirements of technical norms and standards. Manufacturing technology must be shown in technical documents and specifically shown in the manufacturer's production sequence.
The structure must ensure the design requirements on load-bearing capacity; (strength, fatigue, stability and deformation); in necessary cases (if required by design), it must withstand the test load when the waste is tested.

Anti-corrosion protection layers; must be carried out in the conditions of the workshop or steel structure manufacturing plant. The protection layer is only carried out at the assembly site in the following cases:
- Damaged locations appear during transportation, storage and assembly;
- When applying the finishing coat;
- When applying the indicator coat;
- When approved by the customer.
In the workshop or factory manufacturing non-rust-proof steel structures, paint and metal; at the locations of high-strength bolted assembly and welding areas; installed with a width of 100mm on both sides of the weld
The quality of cleaning the surface due to oil of the structure must comply with the regulations of level 2; stated in the standard TCXDVN 334:2005. The level of cleaning the surface of the structure from rust must comply with TCXDVN 334;2005
The protective paint layer of the load-bearing structures according to the external appearance criteria; must comply with TCXDVN 334:2005 standard
Tolerances for geometric parameters of components (structural details, products; assembly units) must comply with the values specified in the design documents of the structure; specifically, but must not exceed the values recorded in tables 1 and 2.

- Dimensions in items 1.1.c, d; 1.2a; II.4.a; III must be measured with a tape measure of level 2 accuracy. Dimensions in other items must be measured with a tape measure of level 3 accuracy.
- For blank edges in items 1.1.a-d, the allowable deviation in size is +5mm.
