    1. What is zoning planning?

    - Technical infrastructure planning is a content in the general planning project, subdivision planning, and detailed planning; For centrally run cities, technical infrastructure planning is prepared separately as a specialized technical infrastructure planning project.

    - The Ministry of Construction regulates documents for each type of urban planning.

    Thus, zoning plans are made for areas in cities, towns and new urban areas.

    3. Regulations on zoning planning?

    Zoning planning belongs to urban planning, which is the division and determination of functions and criteria for using urban planning land in order to concretize the content of general planning.

    – Detailed construction planning.

    * Regulations on zoning planning:

    – The planning term for subdivision planning is determined on the basis of the general planning term and urban management and development requirements.

    – The approved zoning plan is the basis for identifying construction investment projects in the urban area and making detailed planning.

    3.2. Regulations on detailed planning projects:

    – The detailed planning project content includes:

    + Determine population targets, social infrastructure, technical infrastructure and spatial and architectural organization requirements for the entire planning area;

    + Arrange social infrastructure works in accordance with user needs;

    + Land use criteria and architectural requirements for each plot of land;

    + Arrange a network of technical infrastructure works to the land lot boundary;

    + Strategic environmental assessment.

    – Drawings of detailed planning projects must be shown at a scale of 1/500.

    – The planning term for detailed plans is determined on the basis of the zoning planning term and according to management requirements and investment needs.

    – The approved detailed planning project is the basis for granting construction permits and establishing construction investment projects.

    4. Tasks of zoning planning:

    – Determine the boundaries, area and nature of the planned area;

    – Determine expected targets on land use, population, technical infrastructure and social infrastructure;

    – Zoning planning must ensure compliance with requirements and principles for dividing functional areas. The subdivision must be consistent with the technical infrastructure and architectural space with the general planning approved by the competent authority;

    – Strategic environmental assessment.

    * Zoning plans often identify the following contents:
