INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO CHECK CEMENT QUALITY MOST EFFECTIVELY

1. Check the color of cement
The color of cement should be uniform. The best and best color of cement is Gray and the color looks like green. 2. Presence of lumps in cement

5. Strength Test
Strength test is done on the crusher. In this test, we take a cement cube of size 25 mm x 25 mm x 200 mm. The cube is put into water for the last 7 days and then we check the strength of the cube. A good cement should withstand a load of at least 340 N without any failure.
6. Check the quality of cement packaging date
The strength of cement decreases with time, so it is important to check the manufacturing date of the cement. Generally, cement should be used before 3 months from the manufacturing date.
7. Rubbing test
Rubbing test is another physical test done on site. In this rubbing test, we take a small amount of cement in our hand; and we rub it using our fingers. If the cement gives us a smooth texture while rubbing; then it means the cement is good (Because the size of the cement particles is too small and the cement is fine); and if the cement gives us a rough texture then it means the quality of cement is not good.
8. Shape Test
In this test, we took 100 grams of cement; and we added some water to the cement and made a cement-plastic mixture. Then we put them in a small glass basin of water and noted the cement particles. If the particles are disturbed, it indicates that the cement is not good; because the cement is capable of achieving the desired strength in water.
